Taking care of this damn horn! (Referring to Carrie Koffman's alto saxophone after a repad!) I have a role in ensuring that a person's artistry comes through their instrument. It's a privilege to have learned the skills to do this work and a challenge to do it well. Figuring out how to solve problems on acoustically imperfect instruments can be incredibly satisfying.
